I tell myself that the best way to get to the heart of my readers is to start from my heart.
I need to write from the very deep CORE of my Self. Because it’s the CORE where the inspiration springs from. That’s where the POINT OF CONNECT lies. I should be able to tune into that and ‘receive’ whatever comes from there.
Then, like ripples that wave out in expanding circles in a placid lake, the happiness of my writing could spread out to my readers as well.
