AM I WRITING THE STORY FOR MYSELF OR FOR MY READERS?

I try to answer a very basic question for myself: Whom am I writing the story for? For myself? If the answer is Yes, there’s no issue at all.

But, if my answer is gonna be, ‘for the readers’, then I find myself becoming instantly responsible for my readers.

I remind myself that I should say my story in a way that makes sense to them in all respects. If I do stay true to that sense of responsibility, I find that readers are quick to acknowledge it.

Life, for me, is a virtual roller-coaster ride. Because, I choose not to choose any path. For a reason. I've realized that 'flowing with the current' gets me experiences that were never part of my conscious agenda. It can exalt as much as it can exhaust. But, that's life. That's why it's life. I understand that and live by life's dynamic dictum.
