Stars do sparkle in the sky but when the vast space gets clouded, they disappear.
How apt this simple analogy is to the stars of the filmdom too!
When the creative canvas gets clouded by a prosaic and predictable script, the stars don’t shine anymore. They even stop being seen as stars.
So, the time-tested lesson that gets reinforced one more time is, never write a script for the stars. When that happens, the entire plot gets dented and suffers a stunted growth.
But, a thoroughly thought-through script that the stars can easily fit into, shines… and helps the stars glitter too.
Then, the entire sky lights up, making everyone’s head turn up.
